Here we go with the first of the images from our very wet and grey time in Scotland at the start of December.
The whole trip was a bit of a disappointment in terms of light and weather - just heaps of rain and grey skies but it was good to scout out a couple of locations for future visits. With so much rain and frequently overcast skies at least the rivers and falls were all pretty much raging!
These are the Falls of Dochart in Perthshire. Not quite the typical viewpoint for photographing this location but my eye was drawn to the bridge, red autumnal bush and hint of light over the hills in the distance.
Excellent shot, and nice eye! I'm really liking the bridge in the shot there. I feel it has amazing balance with the rocks and the water in the foreground.
