(scraps again) An intimate autumnal scene in the woods at Foxholes, the same place I shot many of my bluebell images in spring. First time I've visited in autumn and there were heaps of interesting mushrooms if you looked hard enough. The place must be known for it though as there was a sign with an arrow pointing to the woods saying "Fungus Foray"(!)
Hopefully I'll make it back for more exploration but with the first frost a few nights ago it won't be long before they all disappear again for another year. Hope you don't mind a few more mushie shots, figured I'd shoot a few as it's a good year for them this year
Excuse the slight noise, had to up the iso to 800 as my current tripod doesn't go to ground level - this is a handheld shot taken from a prone position on the forest floor.
