As we approach the end of summer and the beginning of autumn, the farmers are all busy collecting their precious harvests.
I was very limited in where I could shoot this image from, as I was making do with a broken mini-tripod (which I really needed for dynamic range), having to set up on top of a haystack in order to get any workable sort of height. This is actually a crop of a landscape-oriented image (no massive prints of this one then!) but I think it works competently enough to show how lovely the sunset was that evening, even if I would have tweaked the composition a bit given the chance.
Nothing mega-creative about this shot, just a bit of eye candy really. It was nice to get out and take a landscape shot though after not having done so for over two months due to an eye scare (upcoming journal on that). The shot was taken very locally and didn't involve much planning - it was just one of those afternoons when you look at the sky and know something tasty might be in store
