Night at the Old Courseby ~Meowgli

The Royal & Ancient clubhouse on the St Andrews links... watch any footage from the golf Open championships from over the years and you'll recognise it, it's the grand building overlooking the 1st and 18th holes...

I've wanted a shot of this building lit up at night for a couple of years now, but every time I headed down the lights weren't on, the weather was shit, or there was scaffolding all over the place. On my recent return visit to town conditions were pretty good so I gave it a shot. I got a few I was fairly happy with and headed back to the car and put my kit away... walking back to the house suddenly a cloud appeared in an otherwise cloudless sky and I just had to go back and grab my kit and do it all again!

I'm glad I did though, this is one of few remaining shots of the town I really wanted.... probably means more to someone who knows the place but I thought it was worth posting up.
