*Updated 25/7/11... not much new here really.... improved edited, tighter crop and took it out of scraps... have a nice Sunday!

We first passed by these falls in the early afternoon but it was pretty busy with a bunch of bathers chilling in the water with a few beers. Looked fun! Couldn't be doing with that amount of cloning though so ended up returning for a people-free image a bit later in the day. Unfortunately the light wasn't as good by that point but I couldn't exactly NOT take a shot could I? :lol:

These falls are truly magnificent, you can just see where they start way up in the background there. I reckon they'd be unreal in autumn and may very well head back...

I'm not 100% sure about this one to be honest, I have others without the rock bottom right so the flow seems to come out of the bottom of the frame but I dunno, I quite like how the water exits frame right and creates another 'curve'. Can't seem to get it to pop the way I want with the processing either though so am open to constructive critique!

Great photo mate, although this composition works well...might have been better cropping the bottom off to maybe square it?:shrug:

cheers that's a really good shout and it soo nearly works! would make a nice square this I reckon, can't quite seem to get it to sit right with me though, feels a little bit cramped when I try it... I think these cascades would fit nicely into a square though, with any luck I'll be back there in a few weeks time and be able to make it happen :)

I agree..it would feel cramped using your shot as it..but as you say, you maybe back there soon mate, shoot it wider & square it...heck I talk like I'm any good:lol:
